Jump attacks in Elden Ring not only look cool but when you do a heavy attack with two-handed weapons, you can drain a significant amount of enemy health. If you are not sure how to do this attack, here are the simple steps you need to follow.

How to Jump Attack in Elden Ring

To do a jump attack, you need to jump by pressing X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox) by default, and then immediately after, you need to press RT/R2 to attack. Your goal is to jump and go mid-air and at the right time, press the heavy attack button. This won't work if you press both buttons at the same time, they need to be pressed back to back and at the correct moment.


This jumping maneuver will come in handy even when you are riding your horse. You can jump, double jump and use a spirit spring jump to reach higher areas. While the default buttons are mentioned above, you can rebind them to any other buttons you are most comfortable with.

How to Increase Jump Attack Damage (Claw Talisman Location)

• To boost your jump attack damage, you need the Claw Talisman.
• It's present in Rampart Tower which is to the North-West of Caelid on the map. Almost travel there.
• While you are in Stormveil Castle, head out, walk on the ledges, climb the ladder, and head to the top to find a corpse. Pillage the remains and you should get a Claw Talisman. As its description says, it's a 'talisman depicting a claw and an assassin and it enhances jump attacks.'
