Genshin Impact 2.6 phase 2 event schedule: Vibro-Crystal Research and other release dates

Genshin Impact 2.6 will enter its second phase next week and new events will be released in-game.

With the arrival of stage 2, players will also have the chance to wish on new banners that will drop in stage two.

These upcoming events were previously covered in the 2.6 Special Programme. However, Genshin Impact officials recently made an official statement regarding these events and upcoming banners. Content that will be featured in phase 2 of the 2.6 patch update:

• Event Wish “The Heron's Court” - Kamisato Ayaka Banner
• Event Wish "Summary Call" - Weapon Poster
• Vibro-Crystal Research activity
• The Ley Line Overflow incident

All about Vibro-Crystal Research and other Genshin Impact events

The latest post from HoYoverse shows that Vibro-Crystal Research's event will be added to the game on April 21, 2022. The event will run for 14 days and will end on May 15, 2022.

During the event, players will need to assist a researcher from Fontaine. Fontaine researchers came to Liyue to study the harmonic motion between stones, also called Vibro-Crystals.

There are certain eligibility criteria for players to participate in this event. Take a look at the criteria and complete them to participate in the Vibro-Crystal Research event:
Must have an Adventure Rank of 28 or higher
Complete the "Separation Rite" of Archon Quest "Part I: Act III - Approaching a New Star"

Two different types of Vibro-Crystals will be introduced in the event :

• Donor Crystals
• Recipient Crystals

Players will have to complete various challenges during this event. Here, they can connect the Transmitter and Receiver crystals to take advantage of the effects of completing quests. Completing these challenges will offer rewards from free Primogems to Hero's Wit and more.

Transmitter Crystals can control how players trigger power-ups. These are some of the Emitter Crystal triggers:

• When a character damages opponents with Elemental Burst
• When a character uses Elemental Skills
• When a character comes onto the field

Recipient Crystals trigger buffs when Travelers meet certain conditions. These are buffs that Recipient Crystals can provide:

Elemental Burst damage is increased by 40/60/70% respectively based on the number of stacks gained.
Elemental Mastery is increased by 80/120/140 respectively based on the number of stacks gained.
Energy Recharge is increased by 50%/75%/87.5% respectively based on the number of stacks gained.
Another event called “Ley Line Overflow” will be released a week after the Vibro-Crystal Research event goes live. When players complete the Blossom of Wealth or Revelation challenge during "Ley Line Overflow", they can consume the original resin to double the rewards. Ley Line Overflow will run for one week and will end with the Vibro-Crystal Research event.
